Log on to set up your IEEE-SA Activity Profile (previously called "Invitation Pools")

As the IEEE-SA continues to develop a set of tools and information that can assist standards participants, we are in the process of including access to these tools and information under IEEE Standards Development Online. With this, we will soon be enhancing our tool set to allow enrollment at the committee, working group or project level. Enrollment in any of these activity areas does not constitute official committee, working group or project registration/participation, but does entitle you to mailings.

Log in for more information about the enhancements to Standards Development Online.

What is an Activity Profile?
Setting up your Activity Profile is one of the first steps of your participation in Standards Development. Your Activity Profile tells us what standards projects interest you. For more information about developing standards with the IEEE, visit IEEE Standards Development Online.

Why should I set up my Activity Profile?
The Activity Profile is used to contact you for projects that interest you. Currently, this area is used for balloting. As a standards project nears the stage where it will be balloted or voted upon, individuals with the relevant interest selected in the Activity Profile will be alerted that the Balloting Group--the group that will actually ballot on a standards project--is being formed. At that time, you can choose to put yourself in the Balloting Group.

You must be a current member of the IEEE-SA in order to ballot, or pay the per ballot fee. It is important that you ensure that your IEEE-SA membership is in good standing prior to the ballot opening date. We highly recommend if you are not an IEEE-SA member when you join an Invitation Group, that you join the IEEE-SA at this time to make sure you can participate in the ballot.

How do I set up my Activity Profile?
To set up your Activity Profile, log onto myBallot and click the link for "Select Activity Profile" on the login screen. You need to have an IEEE Web Account to access myBallot™ through IEEE-SA Standards Development Online-- a web-based service that will provide direct access to standards development information.

Need to Get an IEEE Web Account?
Go to www.ieee.org/web/account to get one!

If you are either an IEEE member, IEEE Society member and/or an IEEE-SA member, please go to: https://webapps1.ieee.org/WebAccount/Registration.

If you are not an IEEE member, IEEE Society member or and IEEE-SA member, please go to: https://webapps1.ieee.org/WebAccount/shopperCardServlet.

If you don't remember your IEEE web account username or password, please go to: https://webapps1.ieee.org/WebAccount/Recover.

How do I update my Activity Profile data?
To update your Activity Profile data, log onto myBallot and click the link for "Select Activity Profile" on the login screen. Check the committees, working groups, and/or projects of interest to you or deselect those that no longer interest you. You can return to this screen to update your information at any time.

REMEMBER! You must be a current member of the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) in order to ballot. It is important that you ensure that your IEEE-SA membership is in good standing prior to the ballot opening date. We highly recommend if you are not an IEEE-SA member, that you join the IEEE-SA.
