IEEE Color Books® Overview
Recommended Practices for Industrial and Commercial Power Systems
The IEEE Color Books are industry-proven tools, specifically developed for today's engineers
involved in all facets of industrial and commercial power systems.
Together, the 13 volumes that comprise the set provide complete
access to today's most reliable information on electric power systems.
The IEEE Color Books are developed and revised by the technical committees
of the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Industrial and Commercial Power Systems Department.
The Color Books Zone provides access to in depth information regarding the IEEE
Color Books, such as:
| • The ability to view and browse the table of contents and first chapter of each book. |
| • A comprehensive overview of each book written by |
|
° H. Landis Floyd II, Chair, Industrial and
Commercial Power Systems (I&CPS) Power Systems Engineering
Committee; |
|
° S. Mark Halpin, Secretary, I&CPS Power Systems
Engineering Committee; and |
|
° Lynn F. Saunders, Vice Chair, I&CPS Power
Systems Engineering Committee. |
| • Key contacts responsible for developing, writing, and maintaining
each of the IEEE Color Books. |
| • Information about how to get involved in the IEEE-SA
Standards Development Process. |
The IEEE Color
Books are available for purchase through the IEEE Online Catalog or via the Color Books Zone purchase page which includes a more detailed overview of each IEEE Color Book, as well as sample chapters. If you want more information about the IEEE Color Books please contact the chair responsible for each book. Also, for information on how to join or contribute to a working group you may contact the working group chair.
The 13 volumes that make up the Color Books Series are:
