BASELINE OPERATING PROCEDURES
The IEEE-SA Standards Board has approved an update and synchronization of the Baseline Operating Procedures for Sponsor and SCC Type 2. Use of this document will be mandatory for all P&Ps submitted on or after 01 January 2010. It is suggested that any standards development group working on new P&Ps at this time use one of the versions below.

IEEE-SA Baseline Operating Procedures for an SCC Type 1
The Baseline Operating Procedures for WGs become effective on 31 March 2009. Sponsors are expected to instruct their WGs to ensure that they have P&Ps and that they conform to this baseline document. AudCom will begin random audit of WG P&Ps in June of 2010.
